Well, we've been to view the property with four acres. And talked round and round and round and round the pros and cons. I gave up sleeping for several nights. The outside plus the land were everything we could hope for but the house was small and very dark inside. I couldn't see where I would put my piano either, and I would not want to part with that. There were repairs that would need done to the house as well. Anyway, the sums just didn't add up so we said no and I've started sleeping again. There were sooo many pros but enough cons to offset them. We've still got our dreams but a tiny bit of my mind will always wonder if we made the right decision. And at the end of the day, what is the point of having land and no time or energy left to do anything with it? Another £50k would help :)
