Just a quick blog to wish any visitors a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We had a lovely day at my son's house on Christmas Day. He and his wife cooked dinner for ten of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. I still feel full...

The hens and rabbits have enjoyed the carrot tops and sprout outer leaves. The hens didn't leave me a Christmas egg though - but I had one today instead. Maybe they haven't got a calendar in their house ; )

We have decided to try a home grown chicken for New Year. More anon.
